Upon the passing of Co-Op’s beloved Charlie Brouillette in 2007, Pam Blasting, Paul Caputo and staff have continued to provide our customers with the highest quality meat selection that they have come to rely on here at the Co-Op.

We carry many local products including Oscar’s Smokehouse, Sindoni’s and White Eagle…but Co -Op has become known for many of its own specialties;  the biggest being that all of our beef, chicken, pork and lamb is hand-cut each and every day, right here, by experienced butchers!

Beef  …from Black Angus steaks to thin-sliced sandwich steaks we have it all!  Unlike many stores, we also make our own fresh, ground beef on-site, and use this to make our own hamburger patties.  We also make specially-seasoned burgers that will be a hit at your next cookout: blue cheese, mushroom and swiss, cheddar and bacon are just a few.

Chicken and Turkey…we work hard to provide you with the highest quality cutlets, tenders, boneless-skinless chicken breasts and thighs - for a start!  And just like those specialty hamburger patties, we also offer a variety of seasoned chicken burgers: garlic and herb, bacon and cheddar, and cordon bleu patties are some customer favorites.

Pork and Veal...ground, chops, and tenderloins are always available at the Co-Op.  We also use our pork to make homemade kielbasa, Italian and breakfast sausage.

Fresh and Frozen Fish…we work diligently to provide you with the finest wild and farm raised products we can find.  Scallops, shrimp and salmon are just some of the fresh seafood selections we have available.  Seafood specialties like lobster tail and calamari find their way into our case along with a wide-variety of already seasoned frozen fish: chili-lime tilapia, crab-stuffed sole and those kid-friendly fish nuggets are a couple of ideas.

Natural Meat Products…we realize that many people are doing their part for the world and their health and because of this we do our best to provide our customers with the best natural products we can find at a reasonable price:

• Bell and Evans (natural-raised) and Murray’s (free-range) chicken 
• Plainville natural turkey breast, ground turkey meat, whole turkeys and cutlets
• VanVranken Farms is a locally owned, naturally-raised provider of lamb from Stillwater, NY
• Naturally raised beef  and pork products
• Ducktrap Farm of Maine specializing in naturally smoked seafood

Ready-To-Cook…Co-Op realizes that there’s not always time to make it yourself, and for those on-the-go people and families we offer many homemade items that are just ready for you to cook! Chicken cordon-bleu, sausage-stuffed beef brasciole, stuffed pork chops and stir-fry can go from store to table in no time at all!  In addition, we make our own meatballs and meatloaf to help you save time in the kitchen.
