
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. pasta of your choice
- 1 lb.Yancey’s Fancy® XXX-Sharp Cheddar™
- 1 cup milk
- ½ stick melted butter/margarine
- 1 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- pinch of salt
- pinch of black pepper
- 1/4-1/2 c. bread crumbs
- optional: sliced tomatoes
Directions:
*Preheat oven to 325°
- Boil one lb. of pasta according to package directions and drain.
- Mix milk, melted butter, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Place thin layer of pasta in a large casserole dish.
- Slice a thick layer of Yancey’s Fancy® XXX-Sharp Cheddar™ over top of pasta.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you have used all the pasta, ending with cheese on top.
- In the corner of the casserole dish, pour milk mixture until it covers pasta.
- Bake at 325° for 1½-2 hours.
- Remove from oven and turn on broiler setting.
- Top casserole with (optional: sliced tomatoes) and another layer of medium-sliced Yancey’s Fancy® XXX-Sharp Cheddar™ and a thin layer of bread crumbs.
- Place under broiler until cheese melts and bread crumbs turn golden brown. Careful not to place too close to the broiler or bread crumbs will burn.
